CENTERS FOR COMMON SERVICES
The government aims to improve the provision of its services by minimizing time to Citizens and costs of seeking those services. Therefore, the Government has established Centers for Common Services to enable Citizens to access easily Government services in one location within the buildings of the Tanzania Posts Corporation.The main goal is to make improvements and reforms in service delivery using information technology and communication between Government Institutions.
Currently the services offered at the Centers are:-
- Birth and death certificates - RITA;
- Traveller Passport-IMMIGRATION;
- National Identity Card- NIDA;
- Registration of Business companies- BRELA;
- Tax Identification Number (TIN)-TRA;
- Retirement pension information,application,verification of information- PSSSF&NSSF;
- Lost report and verification for driving licenses - Tanzania Police Force- TPF.
- Issuing Business Licenses for Dodoma City Council.
