On May 13, 2025, the Postmaster General of Tanzania Posts Corporation, Mr. Macrice Mbodo, welcomed the Italian Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E. Giuseppe Sean Coppola, at the Corporation's headquarters.

Ambassador Coppola was accompanied by Deputy Ambassador Mr. Davide Lorenzini and Administrative Officer Ms. Caterina Comisini.

During their meeting, discussions focused on enhancing business cooperation, particularly in providing postal services to the Italian Embassy in Tanzania. This includes the transportation of ballot papers for the upcoming Italian elections.

Mr. Mbodo was joined by Mr. Elia Madulesi, Head of International Postal Affairs and Communications; Mr. Ahmad Rashid, EMS Manager; and Mr. Ferdinand Kabyamela, Regional Postal Manager for Dar es Salaam.
