Representatives of employees from the Tanzania Posts Corporation from various zones, under the Communication and Transport Workers Union of Tanzania (COTWU-T), have been provided with workplace discipline training held at PH Executive Hotel in Morogoro today, May 21, 2026.

The training was conducted by Mr. Kindamba from the Directorate of Human Resources Management and Administration.

The main objective of the training was to build participants’ capacity on workplace discipline matters in accordance with the laws, regulations, and procedures governing the Public Service.

Participants learned about disciplinary authorities in the Public Service, disciplinary measures for major and minor offences, as well as the related penalties.

In addition, the training applied participatory methods including discussions, real-life examples, and question-and-answer sessions to enhance practical understanding.

Participants pledged to apply the knowledge gained by educating employees in their respective zones and providing feedback on issues related to discipline in the Public Service.
