The Board of Directors of the Tanzania Posts Corporation has commended the Corporation’s leaders and employees for the significant operational achievements recorded in the 2024/2025 financial year.

The commendation was delivered by Mr. Toyi Ruvumbagu, Vice Chairman of the Corporation’s Board, who represented the Board Chairman, Ambassador Major General (Rtd) Gaudence Milanzi, when he opened the third-quarter meeting between the Postmaster General and employees for the 2025/2026 financial year.

Mr. Toyi said the Government is satisfied with the major reforms undertaken by the Corporation in service delivery and commercial performance, and has directed that preparations for the implementation of the Corporation’s Ninth Commercial Strategic Plan be completed before July 1, 2026.

In addition, the Board issued two key directives to all leaders and employees, including ensuring that revenue and profit targets are achieved before the closure of the 2025/2026 financial year, as well as preparing the Corporation’s financial statements in accordance with all financial guidelines and addressing all audit queries before submission to the Controller and Auditor General (CAG).
