EMS ARRIVES IN KIGOMA
The management of Tanzania Posts Corporation has visited the office of the Kigoma District Commissioner, Hon. Dr. Rashid Chua Chua, to brief him on the Expedited Mail Service (EMS), which provides fast transportation of parcels and goods.
The delegation was led by Mr. Arubee Ngaruka, Director of Postal Services. Other members included Mr. Ferdinand Kabyemela, Director of Marketing and Sales; Elia Madulesi; Lightness Mushi; Ahmad Rashid from the Tanzania Posts Corporation Headquarters; and Mr. Ndagije Chobaliko, Kigoma Regional Postmaster.

Explaining the purpose of the visit, Mr. Kabyemela said that through EMS, residents and traders in Kigoma can conveniently and affordably ship important products from Lake Tanganyika, including fish and small dried fish (dagaa), to various destinations around the world, including the United States and Canada.

For his part, the Kigoma District Commissioner, Hon. Dr. Rashid Chua Chua, commended the Tanzania Posts Corporation officials for visiting the Kigoma Region and urged them to ensure that the services provided reach as many residents as possible.
Dr. Chua Chua emphasized the importance of the Tanzania Posts Corporation providing quality services and continuing to respond to the needs of the people of Kigoma, enabling them to take advantage of available opportunities to transport their products within and outside the country.

The visit is part of the Tanzania Posts Corporation’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness among residents and traders about the use of EMS services, particularly in facilitating the shipment of products from Kigoma to various destinations around the world.
