THE POST OFFICE SHOULD IMPROVE THE BENEFITS OF EMPLOYEES
Deputy Minister of Information, Communication and Information Technology Hon. Mr. Kundo Mathew has asked the Tanzania Post Agency to improve the interests of employees in order to increase their morale in their work.
He said this when he was opening the meeting of the 29th General Council of Employees of the Tanzania Postal Corporation on January 13, 2023 in the meeting hall of the Markdon Hotel, in Dodoma.
Speaking during the opening, Mha. Kundo, who represented the Minister of Information, Communications and Information Technology, Hon Nape Nnauye has emphasized that the management of the organization should improve the working environment, including improving the tools that will facilitate the provision of services to citizens in line with their needs.
In addition, the Deputy Minister has explained that the Government will continue to put in place appropriate Policies, Laws and Regulations as well as build and improve the national infrastructure including Residential Addresses and Postcodes, strengthen transportation routes while the goal is to create an enabling and friendly environment for the Organization, in order to continue implementing his daily duties which are currently changing every minute.
Hon. Mr. Kundo has used the opportunity to call on the executives of the Postal Corporation to increase their efforts and professionalism in their work in order to increase production that will bring productivity to the Corporation and the Nation as a whole.
On his part, the Postmaster General of the Tanzania Post Office Macrice Mbodo has explained that the direction of the Organization is to make the Post Office digital through its eight (8) strategic plan and thus through this session they will discuss plans and strategies to facilitate its implementation.
