On September 27, 2023 Former Postmaster General Mr. Macrice Mbodo, handed over the office and welcomes the new Postmaster General Mr. Maharage Ally Chande who was appointed by The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, on September 25th 2023 to be a Postmaster General.
The official handing over ceremony took place at the TPC headquarters (Posta House) in Dar es Salaam.
