The Board Member of the Postal Corporation, Mr. Andulile Mwakalyelye, visited the Dar es Salaam Regional Post Office to observe the performance of the organization.

During his visit to Dar es Salaam, he was welcomed by the Regional Postal Manager, Mr. Athumani Msilikale, on October 3, 2023, in Dar es Salaam city.

Mr. Mwakalyelye had the opportunity to witness various operational activities, including the International Cargo Office (Dar es Salaam Office of Exchange). He also saw how the transportation of parcels and packages within and outside the country is facilitated through the Tanzania Postal Corporation.

Accompanying the Board Member on this visit were the Field Coordinator, Mr. Khamis Swedi, from the headquarters, and the Mail Manager for the Dar es Salaam Region, Mr. Julius Chifungo.

During the visit, Mr. Mwakalyelye also toured the Mzizima Office, where he was received by the Office Manager, Ms. Rehema Mbunda. He had the opportunity to interact with the office staff and learn about their daily duties. Mr. Mwakalyelye listened to the challenges faced by the employees in delivering services to our customers.

Furthermore, Mr. Andulile is expected to continue his tour of the Postal Offices in the Lindi and Mtwara Regions, where he will observe the execution of their duties.
