This was revealed by the Postmaster General, Mr. Maharage Chande, during discussions with Postmaster Generals from Zambia, Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a Stakeholder in the Postal Sector, who is also the CEO of Ship2MyID Company from the United States, at the Office of the Postmaster General located at the Headquarters of PAPU in Arusha.

Additionally, Mr. Maharage highlighted the technological advancements made by the Tanzania Postal Corporation, including the Online Shop enabling global citizens to sell, advertise, and purchase goods, as well as have them delivered anywhere.

Speaking alongside these leaders, Mr. Maharage explained that Tanzania has improved its transportation infrastructure through the national carrier, ATCL, facilitating faster cargo transportation to numerous destinations worldwide, with flights to Dubai, China, and Mumbai increased to approximately three times a week.

The visiting leaders expressed satisfaction with the business collaborations with the Tanzania Postal Corporation and commended Tanzania's efforts to maintain enabling infrastructure for easier, faster, and safer postal services.

The Postmaster General met with these leaders during the 42nd Administrative Council Meeting of the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU), with Tanzania hosting the conference from June 3 to 14, 2024, in Arusha, where the PAPU Headquarters is located.
