The Chinese government has provided training funding for four employees of the Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) in the area of postal service operations. The aim is to improve the efficiency of postal services in developing countries, especially during this era of technological advancement.

This was revealed during a working visit by TPC officials to China from June 5-13, 2024, where they received training to enhance the performance of TPC.

The visit, funded by the Chinese government for developing countries, included Tanzania, Cuba, Afghanistan, Mauritius, Armenia, and Ethiopia. Mr. Ramadhani Mathias Ng'wendankono, Gervas Joel Seth, Waryoba Nyakitita Nyakuwa, and Andrea John Liundi represented TPC.

During the visit, TPC employees learned about postal operations, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and the use of clean technology in vehicles (electric cars and electric motorcycles).
