The Deputy Minister for Information, Communication, and Information Technology, Hon. Engineer Maryprisca Mahundi, has praised the Tanzania Posts Corporation for its efforts to enhance its services digitally, aligning with current technological advancements.

She made these remarks today, July 19, 2024, during her ongoing visit to institutions under her ministry, at the Post Headquarters in Dar es Salaam.

During her visit, the Deputy Minister urged the Tanzania Posts Corporation to leverage technological advancements to further grow the organization financially and increase innovation to ensure postal services continue to expand for the benefit of the public and the nation.

Additionally, Hon. Engineer Mahundi commended the Corporation for its efforts to improve services with flexibility to collaborate with the private sector to serve citizens in various areas using new technology, citing the partnership launched with Azampesa on July 17, 2024, in Dar es Salaam.

The Deputy Minister, Engineer Mahundi, promised continued collaboration with the Post Corporation and other institutions under her ministry to ensure they provide excellent and modern services to the public.

For his part, Postmaster General Mr. Maharage Chande, in his presentation, outlined the Corporation's Strategic Plan with "6 Baskets," including People, Customers, Business Growth, Technology and Innovation, Performance, and Marketing, aimed at improving performance and increasing the Corporation’s revenue to ensure it continues to benefit the nation.
