Tanzania Posts Corporation has joined forces with The Healthier Kidney Foundation, various institutions, and individuals to participate in the FIGO Marathon today, September 22, 2024, in Dar es Salaam. The goal of the marathon is to raise funds to support services for children with early-stage kidney problems in Tanzania.

The Guest of Honor at the event was the Regional Medical Officer (RMO) of Dar es Salaam, Dr. Mohammed Mang'una, representing the Minister of Health, Hon. Jenista Mhagama. Dr. Mang'una praised all the runners for their participation, which not only improves their health but also facilitates the treatment of children with special needs such as these.

On his part, the Dar es Salaam Postal Regional Manager, Mr. Ferdinand Kabyemela, urged Dar es Salaam residents to take care of their health and maintain a regular exercise routine.

Additionally, Mr. Kabyemela spoke about the ongoing transformations within Tanzania Posts Corporation and encouraged Tanzanians to continue utilizing the high-quality services offered by the Corporation.
