Constantine Kasese is an accomplished development planning specialist currently serving as the Director of E-Business, Financial, and Agency at Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC). With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Corporate Management) from Mzumbe University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Regional Development planning from the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP), Protocol, Public and International Relations from Centre for Foreign Relations and a Certified Director from Institute of Directors. Constantine brings a robust academic foundation and extensive experience to his role.
Constantine Kasese joined Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) in 2019 as the Manager of Corporate Planning, where he contributed to shaping the strategic direction of the organization. His exceptional performance led to his promotion in 2021 to Manager of Business Operations (BOP), a role he assumed officially in 2023. In his former role, Constantine oversees TPC’s entire business portfolio, acting as a driving force behind the corporation's transformation from traditional, analogy services to a modern, digital-first approach. One of his key achievements has been leading the successful implementation of Posta Kiganjani, a flagship e-business platform designed to modernize postal services and cater to the growing demand for digital financial services. Through his leadership, TPC has made significant strides in e-business, becoming a critical player in providing digital postal solutions in Tanzania. Constantine’s responsibilities encompass managing and optimizing TPC’s financial services, developing innovative business strategies, and enhancing agency services to meet the evolving demands of a digitally connected customer base. His vision has played a crucial role in TPC’s advancement, particularly in integrating digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
With his forward-thinking mind-set and expertise in business operations, Constantine continues to lead TPC’s transformation, positioning the corporation at the forefront of digital postal services in the region.
In addition to his primary role at TPC, Constantine serves as the National Quality of Services Fund Coordinator for the Universal Postal Union (UPU), where he is instrumental in soliciting and managing Quality of Service Fund, ensuring that quality standards are met across postal services. He is also the Co-Chair of Physical Services and E-Commerce at UPU, actively contributing to discussions and initiatives that shape the future of postal services on a global scale.
Furthermore, Constantine serves as a Tender Board Member for Tanzania Posts Corporation, providing oversight and guidance on procurement processes to ensure transparency and efficiency in resource management.
